To complement the roof sheeting products, a wide range of roofing accessories consisting of flashing, rainwater goods, louvers and ventilators is offered. Roofing accessories are manufactured from: Galvanised sheets in standard thickness of 0,4; 0,5; 0,58; 0,8 and 1,2mm galvanising, from Z160 to Z275. Pre-painted Chromadek finish in 0,58 and0,8 thickness. Stiffened edges straighten the flashing sides.

Standard and rolltop ridge cappings

Ridge cappings can be used with ridge trough closures and/or closed-cell expanded rubber (polyester closure). Lengths should overlap by at least 150mm to prevent leaks. Use silicone sealant and rivets for critical applications in the case of galvanised sheet and chromadek.

Standard and rolltop valley flashings

Use with profiled steel roofing Corrugated Iron, IBR, Widespan and attach in the conventional manner.

Apex flashing

A vertical corner finish for use with profiled steel cladding. In a horizontal situation, this profile serves as gable or parapet wall flashing. Stiffened edges straighten the flashing sides.

Side-wall, head-wall and counter flashing

Flashing: In a parapet situation, this flashing permits expansion and contraction between the brick wall parapet and roof sheeting as a "side wall" or "head wall" flashing, thereby minimising the danger of leakage. Lengths should overlap by at least 150mm and be sealed with silicone and rivets.

Counter flashing

The drip edge enhances the straightness of the counter flashing. Lengths should overlap by 75mm to minimise the danger of leaks at the joints. Fasten flashing by using specially designed flashing nails.

Barge board flashing

This type of flashing can be used with profiled steel roofing to prevent the penetration of moisture to the ends of rafters. Trough closure and/or closed cell expanded rubber (polyester closure) can be used to enhance water proofing and prevent the entrance of birds and rodents. It is also available as bull-nosing flashings.

Internal corner flashing

A vertical corner finish for use with profiled steel cladding. In a horizontal situation, the profile serves as gable or parapet wall flashing. Stiffened edges straighten the flashing sides. Also available as bull-nose flashings.

External corner flashing

This accessory offers a detail corner finish for vertical profiled steel cladding.

Cill flashing

Besides using this as an alternative to the conventional window-cill, it can also be hooked under the standard steel window frame to serve as a water barrier. Furthermore, the profile is shaped to form a drip, thereby preventing water from flowing back to the wall.

Drip flashing

As the name indicates, drip flashings can be hooked under the vertical cladding to serve as a water barrier by preventing water from flowing back to the wall.

Jamb flashing (Edge trim)

Jamb flashings, also known as edge trim, are used with profiled steel roofing to prevent the penetration of moisture to the ends of rafters.

Curved flashing

This type of flashing is available as corner, gable and sidewall curved flashings to suite bull-nosing or curving designs

Closed cell expanded rubber/polyester closure

Polyester closure, used in certain flashing profiles, is a closed cell expanded rubber that is waterproof, weather resistant, UV resistant, dustproof and extremely durable. Polyester closure products are easy to install and are available in both broad and narrow flutes.

RAINWATER GOODS

Gutters, down pipes and accessories

All outlets, offsets, stop-ends, gutter fasteners, shoes and round and square profiles are available in standard dimensions of 75mm by 100mm to 240mm by 240mm industrial down pipes with lengths of up to 6m. Fasteners are available in glavanised or Chromadek steel. Gutters are available in 0, 4 to 3 ,0 thickness material together with the necessary stop-ends, butt straps and gutter brackets.

Chromadek gutters are, however, limited to 0,58 and0,8 thickness material. Down pipes are offered in 0,4 to 1,0-thickness material with the required outlets, offsets, shoes and holder bats (spiked and standard). Down pipes can be ordered in round , square or rectangular shapes.

Ventilators

corr-line is also a supplier of ridge and slope mounted ventilators, that come in various throat sizes including 230mm, 300mm, 450mm and 600mm. Ventilators can be ordered as continuous or standard size units ranging from 2m to 5m. A variety of extras is available such as bird proofing or damper control for certain all year round weather conditions. Ventilators are produced from both glavanised and chromadek steel.

Louvres

A standard range of fixed louvres is offered in widths of 1m; 1,5m and 1,8m. The 20 standard heights vary from 600m up to 3m, and are fitted with four to 14 blades. Adjustable louvres come in widths of 1m and 1,5m and the 20 standard heights vary from 0,3m to 25m. Adjustable louves are fitted with two to 14 blades. Circular, triangular and odd sized louvres are produced on request.

Roofing fasteners

The following range of roofing fasteners is available:
>> Self-drilling screws for steel and timber in lengths of 20mm to 115mm.
>> Top speed roofing screws in carbon steel and zinc yellow in lengths of 20mm to 115mm.
>> Bonded roofing washers in sizes of 19mm and 26mm.
>> Safe top washers available in Chromadek colours.
